Maskeraide Beauty Review

I received these products for free in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

We all know how much I love skincare and all things beauty! MaskerAide Beauty was kind enough to send me a variety of products to review for you.

Based in Canada, all of the masks are made in Korea as they are created from Korean beauty trends. They are also cruelty-free and all of the masks are free of parabens, mineral oils and sulfates. Basically they are focused on healthy skincare without all of the harmful chemicals. You can read more about their story here.

Bubble Bubble Pop Mask

To be honest, I enjoyed all of these products. After using the MaskerAide Beauty products for the last 2 weeks I thought it's time to give you my thoughts on this brand.

The Bubble Bubble Pop mask was definitely a first for me. I have never tried anything like it before. These mask are also known as oxygen masks, foaming Korean cleansers that keep bubbling.

The mask is absorbed into the skin and begins to foam or "bubble" as it works it's magic. I felt like a kid  experimenting with all of the beauty products - take a look at my insta stories for the live version.

I really enjoyed this because my skin was not dry like other mask tend to do. My skin was left soft and plump - great product, Maskeraide.

Before I discuss further, I think it is extremely important to mention what I didn't like about the product or design more specifically. While I am extremely grateful that they've chosen to collaborate with me, I did not enjoy the design work - all products within brand have a blonde, pale character on them.

There just wasn't much diversity (if any) in the packaging - as someone who constantly stans for women of color, I did not like that the marketing/promotion of this product only featured one type of character. As a consumer, if I was shopping for facial products, I'm not sure I would think these products were "for me." I would recommend having different shades/types of characters on packaging in future. These products are undeniably good, but this is something to be aware of.

You may have watched my

Instagram stories sampling the sheet mask the last few weeks. Personally I never thought of detoxing the face, but I felt refreshed. Each mask works in different ways like helping you achieve the perfect pre night out look or relax after a long day.

I haven’t tried all of these masks yet since I’m saving some for future use. For example, the Pre-Party Prep mask is supposed to be great to prepare for a night out. I'll give you updates when I do, so make sure you keep up with me on social @hellorven. The masks arrived in a cute clutch and there were six different types of mask included:

  • All Nighter (Awaken, Replenish, & Refresh)

  • Beauty Restore (Restore, Regenerate, & Repair)

  • Detox Diva (Cleanse, Exfoliate, & Detoxify)

  • Pre-Party Prep (Brighten, Prime, & Energize)

  • I Don’t Wanna Grow Up (Lift, Firm, & Soften Fine Lines)

  • Weather Warrior (Calm, Soothe, & Heal)

The real stand out products I've also used are the "All Eyes on Me" gel patches. In this Maskeraide beauty review, I want to be honest with you. These have gel patches, which I had never used or heard of before - the gel patches are made with Hydrogel which enhance the absorption of the skin, hydrate the eyes and brighten those dark circles. I've told you before about my skincare routines and occasional struggles with beauty products.

let’s talk lips…

It's time we discuss the lip mask shall we?  I had the most fun I've had in a while with these and they actually work! Not that I was too surprised, but I never used a lip mask or treatment before.

The lip mask is to be used before bed (or morning if you'd like) without feeling like it's going to be an all night process. You take the mold out of the packing - this product is also made with Hydrogel - so be aware of the sticky or gel-like consistency. Leave it on for 10-20 minutes and let it work.

Don't worry the material is supposed to be larger than your lips and very  slippery. After I rinse off my lips, I was pleased they didn't have a product taste or tingle too much. There was no redness or irritation.

As much as I could recommend you trying out all of their skin products, I would recommend to start with the Detox Diva sheet mask (you can purchase here) or the Bubble Bubble Pop Mask.

And so, as you can see, MaskerAide has created some amazing products! You can order any of these products from their website or Amazon and be sure to share your results! I hope you enjoyed this review - leave a comment letting me know which product you’d be most interested in trying! I’m curious to see the different answers.

Have you given Maskeraide a try?
