Ivy VoxBox: Influenster Review

Themed boxes are still a craze. I love companies like Influenster because if you're a small blogger like me, they are willing to work with you. Check out my review on this month's latest products.

As many of you may have seen on my instagram, I received more Influenster goods and as promised am sharing my review. Themed boxes are still a craze and this month's box was titled "Ivy Voxbox." While no kin to Beyonce's infamous Ivy Park apparel - a girl can dream- this box featured both beauty and food items for us Influensters.

I love companies like Influenster because if you're a small blogger like me and looking for opportunities, they are willing to work with you. Of course you'll need to show numbers and growth, but for the most part the community is big and always growing.

Now on to the Vox Box review. This VoxBox contained Trolli Sour Brite Crawlers, two ChapStick DUOs (one in berry sorbet shimmer and another in watermelon + strawberry kiwi), a Nubian Heritage African Black Soap Facial Cleansing Bar Soap, a Gillette Venus Swirl, and 7th Heaven Foot Soak & Lotion. This is my fourth box from the company and I'll be honest with you all. I can't help, but feel like the product selection should be a bit more cohesive.

1. Trolli Sour Brite Crawlers

I've been doing this thing where I try to avoid candy at all costs and unfortunately I caved in. You can never go wrong with sour gummies.

2. ChapStick DUO

This duo arrived in betty sorbet, and a watermelon and strawberry kiwi flavor. I love that brands are beginning to move into rounded chapstick products because unlike lipsticks, we don't have to worry about running the color. I think these are perfect for younger girls with the detachable features, but I'm not sure I enjoyed the scents. While I loved the product, EOS lip balm still has my heart.

3. Nubian Heritage African Black Soap

BLACK SOAP has alway s been the holy grail of products and I think it's great that Nubian Heritage recognizes that. Not only have I heard great things about this brand, but have you seen the company's instagram page? Aesthetic is always a plus in my book and they have exceeded my expectations.

4. Gillette Venus Swirl

As you may remember, Gillette was featured in my previous Glam Vox Box review. Different version, same great glide.

5. 7th Heaven Foot Soak & Lotion

It has been a while since I've had serious TLC for my feet. Ivy Vox Box came through with the Juiced Grapefruit and Pressed Mint scents this month. I'll admit I loved the mint lotion, but I'm not sure my skin was a fan of juiced grapefruit on my feet.

Have you tried any of these products? How do smaller blogs feel about brands like Influenster?
