How To Jumpstart Your Year
Can you believe we're already three weeks in 2017 ?
Last year has been full of so many changes and taught me a lot about myself, expectations and limitations. For the past week, I've been working on preparing for the new year (better late than never, right?). I love this time because it allows for a fresh, new start while we still have momentum.
Generally I make changes throughout the year, but I learned an even more valuable lesson in 2016:
Don't allow anyone to limit you because you are worth far more than what you are settling for.
As I've mentioned before I don't quite participate in "resolutions," but set goals for myself this year. I thought it would be a good idea to share some things you can do to start 2017 off with a bang, for all of you who are in the same "new year, new me" mindset.
10 THINGS TO DO TO JUMPSTART THE NEW YEAR
Purchase a planner + be spontaneous
Invest in yourself in all areas: emotional, physical and spiritual
Make a list of goals you'd like to achieve in the new year + the small steps needed to achieve each goal
Start the year ahead with January planning (see bullet one)
Make commitments and let go of a few
Declutter your space - I decided to start the year with a fresh, non-stressful workspace
Care for your body and plan a workout routine even if it's just a few classes a week
Clean up your inbox and unsubscribe from emails
Make a list of new things you want to try during the year
Wrap up all loose ends so you can go in the new year feeling refreshed
